Born July 24th, 1963, in Warren, Michigan. Graduated from Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport, Michigan in June 1981. Enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 7 years on active duty, and many years in the Army Reserves and National Guard.
He was saved on resurrection Sunday 1984, at First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, Michigan. He would later Graduate from Midwestern Baptist College earning multiple degrees.
He would later become a church planter, Pastor, overseas Missionary, Bible Institute Teacher, and the author of over 90 books about the Bible ((Including the Dispensational Study Bible). Brother Phillips has been married to his wonderful wife for over 30 years, and has 2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, and 1 grandson.
